About Our Company

Since opening our doors in 1969, Sharon Baptist Head Start has been dedicated to serving children and families with care, compassion, and excellence. What began in the basement of Sharon Baptist Church on Forest Avenue in the Bronx, New York, has grown into a trusted early childhood education program offering both preschool and childcare services to the community.

At Sharon Baptist Head Start, we believe every child deserves a warm, nurturing, and unconditional learning environment. Our approach is centered on supporting the whole child: academically, socially, and emotionally—so that each student feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

Our team of educators is highly qualified, with degreed and trained professionals who specialize in developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
